Based in Oxford, Rachael worked for Taylor & Francis for six years before joining Crossref in 2012. She worked in Product Management at Crossref before moving over to the Member & Community Outreach team in 2016, where she is acting as interim Community Director. Rachael’s areas of expertise and interest include Metadata (and Crossref’s REST API), preprints, text mining, funding data, and scholarly publishing. She has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of St. Andrews and a MLitt in Publishing Studies from the University of Stirling.
